Patients are seen by appointment and we ask that you call for an appointment so that we may serve you better. We strive to see all acutely ill patients on the day they call.

There is a medical provider on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. After hours, please call 704.873.5661. If you have an emergency, call 911. Please do not use this number for medication refills.

All telephone calls for refills of medications must be done 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday thru Friday, so that we can have access to your medical record when you call. Except in unusual circumstances, no refills of medications will be provided at other times. No refills of pain or "nerve" medication will be called in after hours.

Allergy shots are given 8:00 - 11:00 AM and 1:30 to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Patients MUST wait 15 minutes after the injection to be monitored for a reaction.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible This will allow other sick patients to get an appointment as soon as possible.

Telephone messages left for the provider will be answered in a timely manner, typically by the end of the morning or afternoon. Any message that needs to be answered more urgently should be directed to our telephone triage nurse.

Dealing with diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure requires a partnership between the patient and the provider. Please make and keep your follow up appointments consistently.

Family Care Center will help you file your insurance forms. We do ask that you pay all deductibles and co-pays at the time of your visit. If you are unable to do so, we will work with you to set up a payment plan so that you can receive the treatment that you require.

Please fill out all pertinent information on insurance forms for medical equipment, disability, or other claim forms to help expedite completion of these forms.

We accept all major carriers, Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, United Healthcare, Aetna and many others.

Iredell Family Care Center of Taylorsville sees patients regardless of their ability to pay and provides discounts for services based on household size and income (sliding scale). There is a $25 minimum fee for services.

The providers at Family Care Center work with hospitalists at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville to admit patients.
